I stay only 40 mins from this park but make sure I bring the grandkids every year. It just gets better every year. Agree with all the prev positive comments and wont repeat here, but would add the customer service would put a 5 star hotel to shame. Like some comments we had a problem ( faulty toaster,) but replaced within half an hour with an apology. All the staff ( espec entertainment team) feel like they are having a ball. Agree the prices throughout the site are reasonable, and the units we rent year on year are tremendous, roll on 2019.
We stayed in a static caravan onsite as we, and our grown up children, wanted to visit Edinburgh. It's really easy to get into the city from the site and there are loads of transport options. You can catch a bus outside the main gate, which I believe takes 1hr to get into the city centre. There's also a railway station nearby or you can drive to the various park and rides around Edinburgh. We enjoyed the pool and, as we visited outside school holidays, it was very quiet. The entertainment looked fun, but was more suited to families with small children. The small amusement arcade was also fun and there's a fish and chip shop on site that produces tasty food at a good price.
Had a girly weekend here 100 percent recommend staff were a lovely and helpful we were lucky enough to be served by the giggling waiter Curtis he made our time at the restaurant that good we went to eat their every day just for his fantastic service and great laughs.
This year has been a record year for holidays in the UK next year is expected to be even better.
